About Me
Meet Sheilu
Hello, my name is Sheeilu Satyapriya and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have a Doctorate in Medicine along with a Dual Licensure in the State of Nevada for psychotherapy. I have lived in Las Vegas for the past 22 years, previously residing in NYC. I immigrated from India in 2001 and approach therapy with a fusion of eastern and western philosophies. I have two kids who are both well-settled in life with amazing careers and have bloomed into fantastic human beings. I understand the stresses of parenthood and marital difficulties, having made my share of mistakes and learned from them along the way. This wisdom adds a flavor to my therapeutic style that makes me unique as a provider and I hope to share this experience with you. I have two lovely, energetic, German Shepherds who are fetch enthusiasts, and I have recently ventured into fresh water aquariums and it’s been an amazing experience. Plants have always captured my interest and being surrounded by greenery brings me a lot of peace. Being a life long learner with a growth mindset, I'm constantly exploring new and interesting things to add to my toolkit. I hope to meet you soon and learn more about you.
